Description de la formation
AIRBUS HELICOPTERS and ISAE-SUPAERO have significantly expanded the Advanced Master’s program, "Aircraft and Helicopter engineering" which has existed since 2003.
Now called "Helicopter, Aircraft and Drone Architecture",this degree program includes three components dedicated to helicopters, fixed wing aircraft and drones. Around one hundred hours of courses are also dedicated to design, certification and operation of autonomous systems.
This section completes the fundamental concepts in architecture and regulatory aspects of aircraft as well as flight dynamics, propulsion, avionics, piloting, and guidance of helicopters and aircraft.
This program provides technical skills as well as advanced engineering expertise preparing graduates to identify problems, envisage alternatives, and adapt solutions on aircraft, helicopters and drones.
It answers the growing need of aeronautics manufacturers and designers of drone systems who are seeking engineers capable of switching easily from one type of aircraft to another.

Objectifs visés
The Advanced Master “Helicopter, Aircraft and Drone Architecture (HADA)” is jointly designed and developed by ISAE-SUPAERO and Airbus Helicopters. This program provides a high-level of engineering and technical skills for careers in the aircraft, helicopter and drone industries.
This program provides the basic skills required for aeronautical engineers (architecture, certification and structures) and specific skills to identify problems, come up with alternatives, choose and implement solutions for aircraft, helicopter and drone projects.
Drones and Urban taxis will be developed as they represent a growing part of the activity in the future aerospace sector. Industrial, regulatory and logistical challenges will therefore emerge. As a result, future aerospace engineers interested in being part of these innovative projects will need to call on and develop new skills and expand their current knowledge. This program offers full training from electronic systems to structures and taking in aerodynamics, flight dynamics and certification while encouraging diversity in the profiles of selected applicants.
This Advanced Master course teaches cutting edge techniques required for future aircraft and rotorcraft systems including the new challenges associated with urban mobility. The present program is a high level Master course recognized by industry and adapted to current and future aeronautical engineering.

Prérequis
Les diplômes requis pour intégrer l’un des programmes Mastère Spécialisé® de l’ISAE-SUPAERO :
- Diplôme d’Ingénieur Master 2
- Master 1 justifiant de trois ans d’expérience professionnelle post-diplôme
- Diplôme d’une École de Commerce (grade Master) membre de la Conférence des Grandes Écoles pour les programmes Mastère Spécialisé® en management uniquement
- Diplôme étranger équivalent aux diplômes mentionnés précédemment (BSc + 3 ans d’expérience professionnelle, MSc,…)
Pour les candidats ne remplissant pas ces conditions, mais pouvant justifier de 5 années d’expérience professionnelle significatives, ces programmes peuvent être accessibles via la Validation des Acquis Professionnels et Personnels - VAPP (Nous consulter).
Moyens Pédagogiques
1st semester:
Academic session from September to March, provided by the tenured professors at ISAE-SUPAERO and aeronautical industry experts with their up-to-date knowledge and experience (Airbus Helicopters, Airbus Group, Safran/Turbomeca, Thales, etc.). Including: lectures, tutorials, and practical sessions.
2nd semester:
Students are required to conduct a 4 to 6 months professional thesis or internship.
• with an aerospace company or in a laboratory
• in France or Abroad
supervised by a tutor from the host organization and from ISAE-SUPAERO.
The thesis concludes with the submission of a report and an oral dissertation in front of a thesis committee.

Informations pratiques
La formation est dispensée en anglais.
Les cours ont lieu sur le campus de l'ISAE-SUPAERO à Toulouse et dans les locaux d'Airbus Helicopters à Marignane (durant 1 mois environ).
